Autumn in Kronberg Garden

Winter is still a long way off

(at least in the valleys)

Until late in autumn, it continued to grow and bloom. We used the sunny weekends for bigger or smaller ‘projects’, such as the construction of a folding table (proudly presented further down 😉 and, of course, for mowing, harvesting and storing. That might sound exhausting but wasn’t, because the days stayed dry and we had enough time to do it easy going, that is to say, the garden is still a relaxing zone.

In the meantime everything is done before the winter frost: the water turned off, the water boiler emptied, the power switched off and the batteries removed. Fortunately, there was not too much of heavy rain like in the mountain region of the west and south. The different levels on the plot are in a good condition.

The DIY project: folding table made of solid wood

adjustable to 2 levels of height
finishing with easy-care surface

New material already waiting for the next big project…

…but in spring only. 🙂
